भाजपचे तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडवणीस यांनी कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समिती शेतकरी खातेदारांना मतदानाचा हक्क देण्याच्या निर्णयासह थेट जनतेतील सरपंच, नगराध्यक्ष असे अनेक निर्णय घेतलेले होते. त्यानंतर महाराष्ट्रात शिवसेना, राष्ट्रवादी, काँग्रेस पक्षाचे महाविकास आघाडी सरकार आल्यानंतर अनेक निर्णय रद्द केलेले होते. अडीच वर्षानंतर पुन्हा शिवसेनेचे बंडखोर नेते एकनाथ शिंदे व भाजपचे देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस यांनी सरकार स्थापन केल्यानंतर महाविकास आघाडी सरकारने तत्कालीन भाजप सरकारचे रद्द केलेले निर्णय पुन्हा सुरू केलेले आहेत. त्यामध्ये थेट जनतेतील सरपंच, नगराध्यक्ष यांच्यासह अनेक निर्णय घेतलेले आहेत. मात्र, कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीत शेतकरी खातेदार यांना मतदानाचा हक्क न दिल्याने शेतकऱ्यांमध्ये नाराजीचा सूर उमटलेला आहे. विद्यमान उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस यांनी शेतकऱ्यांच्या तोंडाला पाने पुसली असल्याची भावना खातेदार शेतकऱ्यांची झालेली आहे.
मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे व उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस सरकार स्थापन झाल्यानंतर कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीची निवडणूक प्रक्रिया सुरू झालेली आहे. त्यामध्ये ग्रामपंचायत सदस्य, सोसायटीचे संचालक, व्यापारी, हमाल, तोलार यांनाच मतदानाचा अधिकार दिलेला आहे. खातेदार, शेतकरी यांना वगळलेले आहे. त्यामुळे शेतकऱ्यांच्या कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीत जाण्याच्या आशा मावळलेल्या आहेत.
कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समिती व सहकारी संस्थांवर काँग्रेस व राष्ट्रवादी पक्षाचे वर्चस्व आहे. अनेक राष्ट्रवादी व काँग्रेस पक्षामधून नेते भाजपमध्ये गेलेले आहेत. भाजपमध्ये गेलेल्या राष्ट्रवादीच्या व काँग्रेसच्या नेत्यांची कातडी बचाव करण्याकरता उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस यांनी खातेदार शेतकरी यांचा हक्क हिरावून घेतला की काय, अशी शंका उपस्थित केली जात आहे. कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीत शेतकऱ्यांना मतदानाचा अधिकार देण्यात यावा, यासाठी भाजपमधील वरिष्ठ नेत्यांनी लक्ष देणे गरजेचे आहे. कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीच्या निवडणुका अजून सहा महिने लांबल्या तरी हरकत नाही मात्र, येणाऱ्या अधिवेशनात शेतकऱ्यांना बाजार समितीत नेतृत्व करण्याची संधी मिळण्यासाठी अधिवेशनात मंजूर करून नंतरच निवडणुका घेण्यात याव्यात, अशी शेतकऱ्यांची मागणीचा शेतकऱ्यांमधून प्रचंड नाराजीचा सूर उमटत आहे.
