यावेळी कार्यक्रमासाठी माळशिरस नगरपंचायतीचे नगरसेवक आकाश सावंत, भाजपा युवा मोर्चा उपाध्यक्ष युवराज वाघमोडे, अमोल वाघमोडे, गणेश सिद, पत्रकार संजय हुलगे, अमोल राऊत, सुनील बंडगर, मोहन गोरड, प्रविण राऊत आदी मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.
यावेळी पुढे बोलताना बाळासाहेब सरगर म्हणाले की, गोपीनाथराव मुंडे यांच्या संघर्ष यात्रेमुळे १९९५ साली राज्यांमध्ये शिवसेना-भाजप सरकार आलं. त्यावेळी उपमुख्यमंत्री गोपीनाथ मुंडे यांच्या शुभहस्ते माळशिरस तालुक्यातील २२ गावाला वरदानी ठरणारे निरा देवधर धरणाचे भूमिपूजन त्यांच्या शुभहस्ते होऊन कृष्णा खोरे विकास महामंडळाच्या मार्फत या तलावाचे काम १९९९ साली पूर्ण करण्यामध्ये गोपीनाथ मुंडे यांचा सिंहाचा वाटा होता. त्यामुळे माळशिरस तालुक्याच्या सदैव स्मरणात राहणारे काम गोपीनाथ मुंडे यांनी केल्यामुळे त्यांच्या स्मृती आजही जाग्या होतात, असे प्रतिपादन बाळासाहेब सरगर यांनी व्यक्त केले.
