पिरळे ता. माळशिरस येथील पत्रकार प्रमोद शिंदे यांचे वडील बुद्धवासी ज्ञानदेव निवृत्ती शिंदे यांचा मंगळवार दि. 5 सप्टेंबर 2023 रोजी 11:30 प्रथम स्मृतिदिन असून या स्मृतिदिनानिमित्त विविध सामाजिक उपक्रमाचे आयोजन केले आहे.

सकाळी 10 वाजता महाराष्ट्रातील सुप्रसिद्ध गीतकार भीम शाहीर विजय सरतापे यांचा भीम गीतांचा कार्यक्रम तसेच समाज मंदिर परिसरात वृक्षारोपण व शालेय विद्यार्थ्यांना शालेय साहित्य व पुस्तक वाटप आदी कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. बुद्धवासी ज्ञानदेव शिंदे हे दलित पॅंथर सोलापूर शहर शाखेचे खजिनदार होते. नामदेव ढसाळ व रामदासजी आठवले यांचे निकटवर्ती संबंधित होते. गावात व माळशिरस तालुक्यात अनेकांचे त्यांचे जिव्हाळ्याचे संबंध होते. त्यांना वाचण्याची खूप आवड होती. जवळपास दहा हजारापेक्षा जास्त पुस्तक वाचण्याचा विक्रम त्यांच्या नावे आहे.
