सध्या महाराष्ट्र विकास सेवेत कार्यरत असणाऱ्या व यशदा येथे सहाय्यक प्राध्यापिका म्हणून सेवा बजावत असलेल्या श्रीम. संध्या जगताप यांनी कवयित्री बहिणाबाई चौधरी उत्तर महाराष्ट्र विद्यापीठ जळगाव यांच्याकडे राज्यशास्त्र विषयात “७३ व्या घटना दुरुस्तीच्या अनुषंगाने त्रिस्तरीय पंचायतराज व्यवस्थेचा अभ्यास विशेष संदर्भ – पुणे जिल्हा” या विषयात संशोधन करून प्रबंध सादर केला होता.
श्रीम.संध्या जगताप यांनी पुणे जिल्ह्यातील हवेली तालुक्यातील जिल्हा परिषद प्राथमिक शाळेमधून आपल्या शासकीय सेवेची सुरुवात केली. महाराष्ट्र राज्य लोकसेवा आयोगाच्या परीक्षेत त्यांनी राज्यात मेरिटमध्ये येत महाराष्ट्र विकाससेवा संवर्गातून उप मुख्यकार्यकारीअधिकारी /गटविकास अधिकारी वर्ग 1 या पदावर त्यांची निवड झाली. सध्या श्रीम. संध्या जगताप ह्या यशवंतराव चव्हाण अधिकारी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र पुणे येथे सहाय्यक प्राध्यापिका म्ह्णून कार्यरत आहेत. अत्यंत व्यस्त कामातून व कौटुंबिक जबाबदारीतुन वेळ काढून व अभ्यास करून त्यांनी आपला प्रबंध विद्यापीठास सादर करून डॉक्टरेट मिळविली. याबद्दल त्यांचे सर्व स्तरातून त्यांचे अभिनंदन होत आहे.
