भांबुर्डी ग्रामपंचायत उपसरपंच सतीश तीकुटे यांनी उपसरपंच पदाचा राजीनामा दिल्यानंतर रिक्त झालेल्या उपसरपंच पदासाठी ग्रामपंचायत कार्यालयात माळशिरस पंचायत समिती मधील विस्तार अधिकारी एस व्ही जाधव यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली झालेल्या बैठकीमध्ये सर्व ग्रामपंचायत सदस्य यांच्या मधून आप्पासाहेब मल्हारी वाघमोडे यांचा उपसरपंच पदासाठी एकमेव अर्ज आलेला असल्याने बिनविरोध उपसरपंच पदी निवड झाल्याची घोषणा निवडणूक निर्णय अधिकारी जाधव यांनी घोषित केले यावेळी अकलूज कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीचे माजी उपसभापती व माजी सरपंच ज्येष्ठ नेते गणपत तात्या वाघमोडे माजी सरपंच केशव बापू वाघमोडे विद्यमान सरपंच सौ लक्ष्मीबाई महादेव वाघमोडे, ज्येष्ठ नेते महादेव वाघमोडे, शिवाजीराव शिंदे,युवा नेते दादासाहेब वाघमोडे संतोष वाघमोडे अनिल वाघमोडे बाजीराव वाघमोडे ज्ञानदेव वाघमोडे बळवंत वाघमोडे सिद्धनाथ बंडगर प्रशांत धाईंजे सोमनाथ वाघमोडे विष्णू पोपळभट ( लोहार) शंकर वाघमोडे आदी मान्यवरांसह विशेष उपस्थिती युवा उद्योजक गोरख देशमुख सागर पवार अमोल पवार दादासो यमगर वरूण धाईंजे आदी मान्यवर उपस्थित होते. मित्र परिवार यांनी आप्पासाहेब वाघमोडे उर्फ आप्पा मिस्त्री या टोपण नावाने ओळखतात यांचा सन्मान केला.

भांबुर्डी गावातील सौ नागरबाई व श्री मल्हारी आगतराव वाघमोडे सर्वसामान्य व शेतकरी कुटुंब आहे. अशा सर्व सामान्य दाम्पत्य यांना बाजीराव व आप्पासाहेब अशी दोन मुले आहेत बाजीराव यांनी कृषी पदवी घेऊन माळशिरस येथे वाघमोडे कृषी केंद्र सुरू केलेले आहे तर आप्पासाहेब यांनी बीए ग्रॅज्युएशन शिक्षण पूर्ण करून 2014 पासून उद्योग व्यवसायामध्ये आहेत बाजीराव आणि आप्पासाहेब उभय बंधूंनी राम लक्ष्मणाच्या जोडीने कष्ट जिद्द चिकाटी मेहनतीच्या जोरावर उद्योग व्यवसायामध्ये चांगली भरारी घेतलेली आहे.
