सोलापूर जिल्ह्यातील महाळुंग-श्रीपुर नगरपंचायत हद्दीतील बेकायदा दारू व अवैध धंदे तात्काळ बंद करण्याबाबत सर्वसाधारण सभेत ठराव क्रमांक ११ सर्वसाधारण सभा दि. १०/०८/२०२३ रोजी संपन्न झालेली होती. सदरच्या ठरावांमध्ये महाळुंग-श्रीपुर नगरपंचायत हद्दीत शाळा महाविद्यालय आहेत. शहरांमध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणात दारू, हातभट्टी, गांजा, गुटखा, सिंधी, जुगार अड्डे, मटका, ऑनलाईन मटका असे अवैध व्यवसाय राजरोसपणे चालू आहे. त्यामुळे शहरातील युवक मोठ्या प्रमाणावरती व्यसनाच्या आहारी गेल्यामुळे शहरात गुन्हेगारीचे प्रमाण वाढले आहे. मुलींच्या सुरक्षेचा व युवकांच्या भवितव्याचा प्रश्न निर्माण झाला असून याबाबत स्थानिक पोलीस प्रशासनाला वेळोवेळी तोंडी व लेखी पत्रव्यवहार केला पण, काही पुढार्‍यांचे वरदहस्त असल्याने अवैध धंदेवाल्यांशी पोलीस प्रशासनामधूनच लागेबंधे असल्यामुळे त्यांच्याकडे दुर्लक्ष केले जात आहे. तरी, आपणांस या ठरावाद्वारे विनंती आहे की, शहरातील अवैध व्यवसाय पूर्णतः बंद करण्यास सर्वसाधारण सभेत सर्वानुमते ठरले आहे. सदरच्या ठरावाला सूचक सावंत पाटील व अनुमोदन लाटे यांचे आहे.

महाळुंग नगरपंचायतीच्या कर्तव्यदक्ष नगराध्यक्षा सौ. लक्ष्मी अशोकराव चव्हाण यांनी दि. २२/०८/२०२३ रोजी सोलापूर ग्रामीणचे पोलीस अधीक्षक यांना पत्र देऊन नगरपंचायतीचा ठराव झालेला संदर्भ दिलेला आहे. नगराध्यक्षा सौ. लक्ष्मी अशोकराव चव्हाण यांनी दिलेल्या पत्रात आम्ही सर्वजण विनंती करतो की, महाळुंग-श्रीपुर मध्ये जवळपास ३० ते ४० बेकायदा दारूचे धंदे आहेत. तसेच मटका, ऑनलाईन मटका, जुगार, केमिकल, सिंदी, असे अनेक ठिकाणी राजरोसपणे चालू आहेत. छोट्या मोठ्या धाब्यावरती सहज उपलब्ध होत आहे. वरील बेकायदा धंद्यामुळे परिसरामधील वातावरण दूषित झाले आहे. नवयुवक व्यसनाधीन झाले आहेत. गुन्हेगारीचे प्रमाण वाढले आहे. पोलीस तात्पुरती कार्यवाही करतात व दुसऱ्या दिवशी धंदे सुरू राहतात. तरी आपण ठरावाचा विचार करून निवेदन मिळाल्यापासून पूर्णपणे गावामध्ये बेकायदा दारू धंदे बंद करावेत, अन्यथा आम्हाला उपोषण केल्याशिवाय पर्याय नाही. त्यामुळे अवैध धंदे बंद करावे ही विनंती, अशा पद्धतीने पत्रव्यवहार केलेला आहे.
