रत्नागिरी-नागपूर राष्ट्रीय महामार्गाच्या कोल्हापूर जिल्ह्यातील चोकाक ते अंकली या महामार्गातील शेतकऱ्यांना चौपट मोबदला मिळाल्याशिवाय भूसंपादन करू देणार नाही, यामुळे याबाबतीत शासनाने आपली भूमिका स्पष्ट करावी मगच मोजणीबाबत कार्यवाही करावी; अशी ठाम भूमिका स्वाभिमानी शेतकरी संघटनेचे संस्थापक राजू शेट्टी यांनी जिल्हाधिकारी अमोल येडगे यांच्या कार्यालयात झालेल्या बैठकीत मांडली.

विकासकामांना शेतकऱ्यांचा विरोध नाही, मात्र शेतकऱ्यांची थडगी बांधून विकास करता येणार नाही. प्रशासन व सरकार दोघेही वेळकाढूपणा करू लागल्याने हा प्रकल्प रखडू लागला आहे. महाविकास आघाडी सरकारने भूसंपादन कायदा बदलला, यामुळे शेतकऱ्याची राख रांगोळी झाली. शेतकऱ्यांनी वारंवार चौपट मोबदल्यासाठी हेलपाटे मारूनही याबाबत शासनाकडून कोणतीच कारवाई करण्यात आली नाही. प्रशासनाकडून जबरदस्ती पोलीस बळाचा वापर करून मोजणी बाबत राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाकडून कार्यवाही करण्यात येत आहे.

भूमी अभिलेख विभागाकडून कोणतीही अद्ययावत कागदपत्रे न तपासता तसेच संबंधित शेतकऱ्यांना नोटीसही लागू न करता जुन्या कागदपत्राद्वारे मोजणी करण्याचे काम सुरू आहे. अनेक शेतकऱ्यांच्या हद्दी निश्चित नसून वाटणीपत्र न झाल्याने मोजणी पूर्ण होण्यामध्ये अडचणी निर्माण झाल्या आहेत. अंकली ते चोकाक या भागातील शेतकऱ्यांना पूर्वीचा सांगली-कोल्हापूर महामार्ग, सांगली-कोल्हापूर बायपास रस्ता, रेल्वे लाईन, नवीन कोल्हापूर-नागपूर रस्ता व शक्तिपीठ महामार्ग यामुळे शेकडो शेतकरी भूमिहीन होऊ लागले आहेत. यावेळी संतप्त शेतकऱ्यांनी सरकारला जर चौपट देता येत नसेल तर आम्हाला टोलमध्ये हिस्सा द्या किंवा जेवढी जमीन संपादित होणार आहे तेवढी गावातीलच गायरान जमीन द्या, अशी मागणी केली. दरम्यान जिल्हाधिकारी यांनी यावेळी चौफट मोबदल्याचा प्रस्ताव शासनाकडे सादर केला असून शासनाने याबाबत निर्णय प्रलंबित ठेवला आहे. उर्वरित जुन्या रस्त्यावरच भूसंपादन करणे व महापुराबाबत उपाययोजना करणे यासारख्या गोष्टी राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाने तातडीने जाहीर करण्याच्या सूचना जिल्हाधिकारी येडगे यांनी दिल्या.
