धनगर समाज संघर्ष समितीचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष अनंत बनसोडे आणि प्रदेश सचिव ज्ञानेश्वर परदेशी यांनी धनगर समाज संघर्ष समितीचे संस्थापक राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष माजी खासदार पद्मश्री डॉक्टर विकास महात्मे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली सोलापूर ग्रामीण जिल्हा अध्यक्षपदी दादासाहेब मानसिंग शिंदे मु. पो. पिरळे, ता. माळशिरस यांची निवड केली आहे. तसे नियुक्ती पत्र देखील देण्यात आले आहे.

सदर नियुक्ती पत्रात असे नमूद करण्यात आले आहे की, दादासाहेब मानसिंग शिंदे यांची ग्रामीण जिल्हा अध्यक्ष सोलापूर या पदावर नियुक्ती केलेली असून महापराक्रमी राजा श्रीमंत मल्हारराव होळकर यांच्या पराक्रमाला साक्षी ठेवून महान राज्यकर्ते अहिल्यादेवी होळकर यांनी रयतेसाठी चालवलेल्या राज्याचे स्मरण आपणांस नेहमी असावे. संत श्री बाळूमामा यांच्या कृपाशीर्वादाने सदर पदावर आपली नियुक्ती केलेली आहे. आपले ध्येय हे आरक्षणाची अंमलबजावणी असून आपल्या वाड्या, वस्ती, डोंगराळ भागातील शेवटच्या धनगर बांधवांपर्यंत पोहोचून त्यांचा विकास करण्याची शपथ घेऊन काम करावे.
