देशाच्या चौदाव्या लोकसभेच्या निवडणुकीचे पडघम जोरात वाजू लागलेले आहेत. महाराष्ट्राच्या ४८ लोकसभेच्या जागेमध्ये चुरशीच्या व प्रतिष्ठेच्या जागेमध्ये माढा लोकसभा मतदार संघ देशाच्या व महाराष्ट्राच्या चर्चेत आलेला आहे. माढा लोकसभा मतदारसंघातून कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खासदार रणजीतसिंह हिंदुराव नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी पुनश्च उमेदवारीसाठी नाद केला. भारतीय जनता पक्षाचे केंद्रीय निवड समिती व महाराष्ट्रातील निवड समिती यांनी नाद पूराच केलेला आहे.

महाराष्ट्राच्या राजकारणात राजकीय उलथापालथ होऊन राज्यामध्ये शिवसेना मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, भाजप उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस, राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस उपमुख्यमंत्री अजितदादा पवार यांच्यासह अनेक पक्षांची व संघटनांची महायुती आहे तर विरोधामध्ये काँग्रेस आय, राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस शरदचंद्र पवार, शिवसेना उद्धव बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्यासह अनेक पक्ष व संघटनांची महाविकास आघाडी आहे. या दोन गटांमध्येच महाराष्ट्रातील ४८ जागांची लढत होणार आहे.
