यावेळी बोलताना मन्सूर शेख यांनी सांगितले की, बारामतीमधील पत्रकार बंधुसाठी काम करणार असून, संघटना विविध जिल्हा व तालुक्यात वाढविण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करणार आहे. लोकसभा निवडणुकीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर पत्रकार बंधूंवर जर खोटे गुन्हे दाखल करण्यात आले तर पत्रकार कोणत्याही संघटनेशी बांधील असेल तरी देखील त्यांच्या पाठीशी संपादक पत्रकार संघ ठामपणे उभे राहून पत्रकारांची बाजू मांडणार असुन पत्रकार बांधवासाठी लढा देण्यात येणार आहे. तसेच पत्रकाराच्या हितासाठी व सन्मानासाठी नेहमी प्रयत्नशील राहील अशी ग्वाही यावेळी दिली.
