महाराष्ट्र राज्याचे माजी मुख्यमंत्री व विद्यमान उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडणवीस यांनी फेसबुक वर आणखी एक आनंदाची बातमी ३५९१.४६ कोटी रुपयाच्या निरा देवधर सिंचन प्रकल्पाला केंद्र सरकारने गुंतवणूक मान्यता अंतिम मान्यता प्रदान केली आहे. यामुळे या प्रकल्पाला गती येणार आहे. भोर, खंडाळा, फलटण, माळशिरस आदी भागांना याचा मोठा लाभ होईल. याबद्दल पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदीजी आणि केंद्रीय जलशक्ती मंत्री गजेंद्रसिंह शेखावतजी यांचा अतिशय मनापासून आभारी आहे. खासदार रणजीतसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी यासाठी सातत्याने पाठपुरावा केला, त्यांचेही अभिनंदन. असे फेसबुक वर टाकून माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांच्या सततच्या पाठपुराव्याचे खऱ्या अर्थाने कौतुक केलेले आहे.

दुष्काळी भागातील शेतकऱ्यांच्या जिव्हाळ्याचा असणारा गेल्या २५ वर्षांपासून रखडलेल्या निरा-देवधर योजनेसाठी केंद्र सरकारने 3591.46 कोटी रुपयांचा निधी मंजूर केला आहे. यामुळे दुष्काळी भागाला पाणी मिळणार आहे. माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खा. रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी सततचा पाठपुरावा केला असल्याने योजनेस मंजुरी घेऊन खा. रणजीतसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर हे दुष्काळी भागाचे खऱ्या अर्थाने भगिरथ ठरले आहे.

माढा लोकसभा मतदार संघातील दुष्काळी भागास पाणी मिळावे म्हणून निरा-देवधर योजना तयार करण्यात आली होती. मात्र, गेल्या २५ वर्षापासून या योजनेतील पाणी बारामतीलाच वापरले जात होते. मात्र केंद्रात पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी सरकारने योजनेचा अभ्यास करून दुष्काळी भागाला पाणी देण्यासाठी स्वतंत्र मंत्रालय काढले. ही घोषणा त्यांनी माढा लोकसभा मतदारसंघातील अकलूज येथे २०१९ च्या प्रचाराच्या भाषणात केली होती. ही योजना रखडली होती म्हणून खा. रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी प्रयत्न करून या योजनेसाठी ३५९१.४६ कोटी रुपयांचा निधी सरकारकडून मिळविला.

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी, मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्यमंत्री तथा जलसंपदा मंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी या योजनेस निधी देण्यासाठी खा. रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांना सहकार्य केले आहे. दुष्काळी भागासाठी योजनेला निधी मिळवून दिल्यामुळे खा. निंबाळकर दुष्काळी भागाचे भगीरथ ठरले आहेत. यामुळे शेतकऱ्यांतून समाधान व्यक्त होत आहे. मात्र दुसरीकडे या योजनेचे श्रेय घेण्यासाठी श्रेयवाद रंगला असला तरी कायम दुष्काळी भागाला पाणी मिळणार आहे. म्हणून शेतकऱ्यांतून आनंद व्यक्त होत आहे. मात्र, या योजनेचे राजकारण सुरू असल्याचे चित्र दिसून येत आहे.

केंद्रीय जलशक्ती मंत्री गजेंद्रसिंह शेखावत यांनी सांगितले नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी या योजनेसाठी पाठपुरावा केला त्यामुळे योजना मंजूर झाली. त्यामुळे आता दुष्काळी भागातील पिण्याला व सिंचनाला पाणी मिळणार आहे. यामध्ये भोर, माण, खटाव, फलटण, माळशिरस, सांगोला, पंढरपूर या तालुक्यांना फायदा होणार आहे.
