लोकसभेच्या निवडणुकीची आचारसंहिता काही दिवसांवर येऊन ठेपलेली आहे. निवडणुकीचे पडघम सुरू झालेले आहेत. महाराष्ट्रामधील 48 जागांच्या उमेदवारीची घोषणा करण्याचे काम सुरू आहे. संपूर्ण देशाचे लक्ष लागून राहिलेल्या माढा लोकसभा मतदारसंघांमध्ये कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांची पुनश्च वर्णी लागलेली आहे तर, सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघाच्या उमेदवारीसाठी भाजपचे नेते उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडणवीस यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत महत्त्वपूर्ण बैठकीचे आयोजन करण्यात आलेले आहे.

सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदार संघ अनुसूचित जातीसाठी राखीव आहे. गतवेळचे खासदार डॉ. सिद्धरामय्या स्वामी यांच्या जागेवर भारतीय जनता पक्षाचे नवीन उमेदवार देण्याच्या हालचाली वाढलेल्या आहेत. धनगर समाजाचे ज्येष्ठ नेते उत्तमरावजी जानकर यांच्या नावाची चर्चा सुरू आहे. प्राध्यापक लक्ष्मणराव ढोबळे, अमरजी साबळे हेही इच्छुक आहेत. सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघातील लोकप्रतिनिधी माजी मंत्री सुभाषबापू देशमुख, विजयमालक देशमुख, माजी आमदार प्रशांतमालक देशमुख, माजी आमदार राजनमालक पाटील, आमदार सचिन कल्याणशेट्टी, आमदार यशवंततात्या माने, आमदार समाधान आवताडे यांच्यासह भाजप, राष्ट्रवादी व शिवसेना यांच्या प्रमुख पदाधिकाऱ्यांची महत्त्वपूर्ण बैठक मुंबई येथे होणार आहे.

सदरच्या बैठकीमध्ये सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघासाठी कोण उमेदवार असावा, याविषयी चर्चा होणार आहे. माळशिरस विधानसभेचे लोकप्रिय दमदार आमदार राम सातपुते यांना सोलापूर लोकसभेसाठी उमेदवारी देऊ नये, यासाठी माळशिरस तालुक्यातील तमाम जनतेची मागणी आहे. मुंबई येथील बैठकीकडे सर्व सोलापूर जिल्ह्याचे लक्ष लागून राहिलेले आहे.
