माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी पिढ्यान् पिढ्या वंचित असणाऱ्या माळशिरस तालुक्यातील पश्चिम भागातील शेतकऱ्यांच्या जिव्हाळ्याची असणारी नीरा-देवधर योजनेला खऱ्या अर्थाने मुहूर्त मिळाला. जळभावी दुष्काळी गावांमध्ये नीरा-देवधर पाण्याला उखळी फुटली, आनंदाने फटाकडी फुटली. खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांच्या निर्णयाचे स्वागत जळभावी गावचे माजी सरपंच व विद्यमान उपसरपंच आबासाहेब सुळ पाटील, युवा उद्योजक अण्णासाहेब आजिनाथ सरगर, नाथा नरोटे, शुभम धनंजय, दादा पाटील, पांडुरंग कोळेकर, स्वप्नीलकुमार राऊत यांच्यासह असंख्य कार्यकर्त्यांनी गावामध्ये फटाक्यांची आतिशबाजी करून आनंदाने एकमेकांना पेढा भरवून जल्लोष केलेला आहे.

माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी कृष्णा खोरे विकास महामंडळाचे कार्यकारी संचालक यांच्या समवेत पुणे येथील सिंचन भवन येथे बैठक घेऊन कार्यकारी मंडळामध्ये माळशिरस तालुक्यातील नीरा-देवधर प्रकल्पातील कायम दुष्काळी असणाऱ्या १६ गावांमध्ये जळभावी गावाचाही समावेश आहे. सदरची गावे कायम दुष्काळाच्या छायेत असतात. अत्यंत कमी पर्जन्यमान असणारा भाग असल्यामुळे कायमच दुष्काळाशी सामना करावा लागत आहे. यासाठी सुधारित प्रशासकीय मान्यतेमध्ये माळशिरस तालुक्यात सहकारी उपसा सिंचन योजनेद्वारे ४३७० हेक्टर क्षेत्र राखीव आहे.

या भागातील लोकांची आर्थिक परिस्थिती खूप हलाखीची असल्याने शासनाकडून नीरा-देवधरचे पाणी शासनाच्या खर्चातून लिफ्ट इरिगेशन करून नीरा-देवधर चे पाणी १६ गावांना मिळाल्यानंतर कायमस्वरूपीचा दुष्काळ संपून लोकांची आर्थिक व सामाजिक जीवनमान उंचावणार आहे. यामुळे माळशिरस तालुक्याच्या पश्चिम भागातील कायम दुष्काळी भागामध्ये आनंदाचे वातावरण निर्माण झालेले असून फटाक्यांची आतिषबाजी व एकमेकांना पेढे भरून तोंड गोड करून पाणीदार खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांचे तोंडभरून कौतुक शेतकरी बांधव व कार्यकर्ते यांच्यामधून केले जात आहे.
