संपूर्ण देशाचे लक्ष लागून राहिलेल्या माढा लोकसभा मतदार संघात देशाचे पंतप्रधान नरेंद्रजी मोदी, राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जे. पी. नड्डा, केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमितजी शहा व केंद्रीय निवड समिती यांना महाराष्ट्रातून शिफारस करणारे माजी मुख्यमंत्री व विद्यमान उपमुख्यमंत्री भाजपचे नेते देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस, प्रदेशाध्यक्ष चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे, महाविजय संयोजक प्रमुख श्रीकांतजी भारतीय व महाराष्ट्र निवड समिती यांनी माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांना भारतीय जनता पक्षाची पुनश्च उमेदवारी देऊन माढा लोकसभा मतदारसंघाच्या मतदारांच्या मनातील खासदार असणारे रणजीतसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांना उमेदवारी देऊन माढा लोकसभा उमेदवारीचा ट्रेलर झालेला आहे. खऱ्या अर्थाने सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघाच्या उमेदवारीचा पिक्चर बाकी है, अशी राजकीय वर्तुळात चर्चा सुरू आहे.

केंद्रीय व राज्यातील वरिष्ठ नेते व निवड समितीतील सदस्य यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली महाराष्ट्रातील 48 लोकसभेच्या जागांची उमेदवारी निश्चित करण्याचे काम सुरू आहे. सध्या महाराष्ट्रामध्ये भारतीय जनता पक्षासमवेत राष्ट्रवादीचे नेते उपमुख्यमंत्री अजितदादा पवार व शिवसेनेचे नेते मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या गटाला सामावून घेऊन 48 जागांचे विभाजन होणार आहे. सध्या भाजपकडून 20 जागांची उमेदवारी यादी जाहीर झालेली आहे. 13 जागांची उमेदवारी यादी जाहीर होणे बाकी आहे. त्यामध्ये सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघ अनुसूचित जातीसाठी राखीव आहे. सध्या सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघात अनेकजण इच्छुक असताना भारतीय जनता पक्षाकडून माळशिरस पंचायत समितीचे माजी उपसभापती व अकलूज कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीचे विद्यमान संचालक धनगर समाजाचे नेते उत्तमरावजी जानकर व भारतीय जनता युवा मोर्चाचे राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष माळशिरस विधानसभेचे लोकप्रिय दमदार आमदार रामभाऊ सातपुते यांच्या नावाची चर्चा सुरू आहे.

महाराष्ट्र राज्याचे माजी मुख्यमंत्री व विद्यमान उपमुख्यमंत्री भाजपचे नेते देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली भारतीय जनता युवा मोर्चाचे राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष व माळशिरस विधानसभेचे लोकप्रिय दमदार आमदार राम सातपुते यांनी माळशिरस तालुक्यात विकासाची गंगा आणलेली आहे. गोरगरीब व सर्वसामान्य जनतेच्या मनावर अधिराज्य करून गोरगरिबांचे आधारवड रामभाऊ सातपुते बनलेले आहेत. आमदार कसा असावा, हे गोरगरिबांना आमदार राम सातपुते यांनी कार्यातून दाखवून दिलेले आहे‌. पिढीतांना व वंचितांना न्याय देण्याचे काम केलेले आहे. गोरगरीब व अडचणीतील लोकांच्या आरोग्य विषयक समस्या सोडवून आमदार राम सातपुते आरोग्यदूत बनलेले आहेत. आमदार राम सातपुते यांच्या नावाची सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघासाठी चर्चा सुरू झाल्यापासून माळशिरस तालुक्यातील गोरगरीब व सर्वसामान्य जनतेची धडधड वाढलेली आहे. माळशिरस तालुक्यासाठी आमदार राम सातपुते यांची गरज आहे, अशी सर्वसामान्य जनतेची भावना आहे.

माळशिरस पंचायत समितीचे माजी उपसभापती व अकलूज कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समितीचे विद्यमान संचालक उत्तमरावजी जानकर यांनी ४० वर्ष संघर्षमय राजकीय प्रवास केलेला आहे. माळशिरस विधानसभेसाठी दोन वेळा निवडणूक लढलेले होते. महाराष्ट्रामध्ये धनगर समाजामध्ये उत्तमराव जानकर यांच्याविषयी आदर, आपुलकी व प्रेमभावना आहे. उत्तमराव जानकर यांचा गेल्या अनेक वर्षापासूनच्या राजकारणातील संघर्षाला कुठेतरी न्याय मिळावा, यासाठी कार्यकर्त्यांनी सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघात चाचपणी केलेली होती. भारतीय जनता पक्षाच्या २० उमेदवार यादीमध्ये धनगर समाजाला न्याय मिळालेला नसल्याने धनगर समाजाच्या अपेक्षा उंचावलेल्या आहेत. माढा लोकसभेसाठी उत्तमराव जानकर यांच्या उमेदवारीवर शिक्कामोर्तब होईल, असा आशावाद उत्तमराव जानकर समर्थक व धनगर समाज यांच्यामधून बोलला जात आहे.

खऱ्या अर्थाने माळशिरस तालुक्यामध्ये रामभाऊ यांची गरज आहे तर उत्तमभाऊ यांना सोलापूर लोकसभा उमेदवारीची गरज आहे. यामुळे भारतीय जनता पक्षाच्या वरिष्ठ नेत्यांनी विचार करावा यासाठी भाजपचे नेते देवेंद्रजी फडवणीस यांच्याकडे उत्तमराव जानकर यांचा राजकारणातील विविध पक्षातील मित्रपरिवार आग्रही आहे. सोलापूर लोकसभा मतदार संघातील तीन मालक, दादा, बापू, तात्या यांच्या हातात भवितव्य आहे. सोलापूर लोकसभेसाठी कोणाला पसंती देतील, याकडे महाराष्ट्राचे लक्ष लागून राहिलेले आहे.
