विजयसिंह मोहिते-पाटील यांच्या दबावापुढे न झुकण्याची भाजपची भूमिका

माढा लोकसभा मतदारसंघातील उमेदवारीवरून नाराज झालेल्या माजी मंत्री व ज्येष्ठ नेते विजयसिंह मोहिते-पाटील आणि त्यांचे पुतणे व इच्छुक उमेदवार धैर्यशील मोहिते-पाटील यांच्या दबावापुढे न झुकण्याची भूमिका राज्यातील ज्येष्ठ भाजप नेत्यांनी घेतली आहे. दोन राजकीय घराण्यांमधील वादात भाजपने विद्यमान खासदाराची उमेदवारी जाहीर केल्यानंतर रद्द केल्यास त्याचा राज्यात चुकीचा संदेश जाईल आणि अन्य मतदारसंघांमध्येही उमेदवार बदलाच्या मागण्या सुरू होतील, अशी भीती प्रदेश भाजप नेत्यांना वाटत आहे.

भाजपने खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक-निंबाळकर यांना पुन्हा उमेदवारी जाहीर केल्यानंतर मोहिते-पाटील समर्थकांमध्ये असंतोष निर्माण झाला आहे. भाजपने उमेदवारी न दिल्यास धैर्यशील मोहिते-पाटील यांना शरदचंद्रजी पवार गटाकडून किंवा शेकापचे दिवंगत नेते गणपतराव देशमुख यांचे नातू डॉ. बाबासाहेब देशमुख यांना रणजितसिंह नाईक-निंबाळकर यांच्याविरोधात निवडणूक लढविण्याची रणनीती आखली जात आहे. यासंदर्भात उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी मंत्री गिरीश महाजन यांना रविवारी मोहिते-पाटील गटाशी चर्चा करण्यास पाठविले होते. त्यानंतर महाजन यांनी फडणवीस यांना परिस्थितीची माहिती दिली आहे.

गेल्या काही वर्षात काँग्रेस-राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसमधील नेते साखर कारखाने, सहकारी संस्था, कंपन्या आदींमधील गैर व्यवहारांच्या केंद्रीय तपास यंत्रणा किंवा राज्य सरकारने सुरू केलेल्या चौकशा थांबविण्यासाठी भाजपमध्ये प्रवेश केला आहे. भाजपनेही राज्यातील प्रतिष्ठित राजकीय घराणी आपल्याबरोबर असल्यास पक्षाची ताकद वाढेल, या हेतूने त्यांना प्रवेश दिले. आता मात्र या राजकीय घराण्यांकडून भाजपवर उमेदवारी व अन्य मागण्यांसाठी दबाव वाढत असून माढ्यातील असंतोष हे त्याचे एक उदाहरण आहे.

विरोधकांशी हातमिळवणी करण्याची भीती दाखवून भाजपकडून हवे ते पदरात पाडून घेण्याचे प्रयत्न यशस्वी झाल्यास काँग्रेस- राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसमधून भाजपमध्ये आणि उद्धव ठाकरे गटातून शिवसेनेत आलेले अन्य नेतेही लोकसभा आणि आगामी विधानसभा निवडणुकीत राजकीय दबावतंत्र वापरतील, अशी भीती प्रदेश भाजप नेत्यांना वाटत आहे. त्याचबरोबर जाहीर केलेली उमेदवारी काढून घेतल्यास नाईक-निंबाळकर हे नाराज होतील आणि धैर्यशील यांना उमेदवारी दिल्यास त्यांना निवडणुकीत विजयासाठी मदत करणार नाहीत. भाजपने काही संस्थांकडून केलेल्या सर्वेक्षणात नाईक-निंबाळकर यांच्या विजयाची शक्यता अधिक असल्याचे दिसून आले आहे. त्यांची खासदारकीच्या काळातील कामगिरी व अन्य बाबी विचारात घेता केवळ मोहिते-पाटील यांचा विरोध हे उमेदवारी रद्द करण्याचे कारण ठरू शकत नाही. त्यामुळे मोहिते-पाटील गटाने विरोध केला तरी नाईक-निंबाळकर विजयी होतील, असे भाजप नेत्यांना वाटत आहे. त्यामुळे यासंदर्भात फडणवीस हे विजयसिंह व धैर्यशील मोहिते-पाटील यांची समजूत घालण्यासाठी चर्चा करण्याची शक्यता आहे.

भाजपने सहा खासदारांना पुन्हा उमेदवारी नाकारली, तरी त्यांनी बंडखोरीची किंवा विरोधकांशी हातमिळवणीची भाषा केली नाही. त्यामुळे मोहिते-पाटील यांनी माघार न घेतल्यास पक्षश्रेष्ठींशी नवी दिल्लीत होणाऱ्या चर्चेत याबाबत पुढील निर्णय घेतला जाणार आहे. मात्र काही नेत्यांच्या दबावामुळे खासदाराला पुन्हा दिलेली उमेदवारी मागे घेण्याची नामुष्की भाजपवर आली, तर त्यातून चुकीचा संदेश जाईल व विरोधकही टीका करतील, असे भाजप नेत्यांना वाटत आहे.
