माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर खासदार रणजीतसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर, विधान परिषदेचे विकासप्रिय आमदार रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील, माळशिरस विधानसभेचे लोकप्रिय दमदार आमदार राम सातपुते यांच्या सहकार्याने महाराष्ट्रामध्ये माळशिरस नगरपंचायत विकासाचं आदर्श मॉडेल बनविण्याचा संकल्प आहे. सात कोटी रुपयाच्या विकासकामांचा नगरपंचायतीच्या हद्दीत लवकरच मोठ्या थाटामाटात उद्घाटन समारंभ घेणार असल्याचे माळशिरस नगरपंचायतीचे कर्तव्यदक्ष नगराध्यक्ष तथा सभापती स्थायी समितीचे डॉक्टर अप्पासाहेब एकनाथ देशमुख यांनी बारामती झटका चे संपादक श्रीनिवास कदम पाटील यांना माहिती देताना सांगितले.
यावेळी उपनगराध्यक्ष तथा सभापती बांधकाम समिती श्री. शिवाजीराव ज्ञानदेव देशमुख, नगरसेविका तथा सभापती महिला व बालकल्याण समिती सौ. कोमल वैभव जानकर, नगरसेविका तथा उपसभापती महिला व बालकल्याण समिती सौ. पूनम अजिनाथ वळकुंदे, नगरसेविका सौ. ताई सचिन वावरे, नगरसेवक श्री. विजय बाजीराव देशमुख, नगरसेविका सौ. शोभा आबा धाईंजे, नगरसेवक श्री. आबा आप्पा धाईंजे, नगरसेविका सौ. राणी बबन शिंदे, नगरसेविका सौ. अर्चना आप्पासाहेब देशमुख, नगरसेविका सौ. प्राजक्ता शिवशंकर ओहोळ, नगरसेविका सौ. मंगल जगन्नाथ गेजगे, नगरसेविका सौ. मंगल दत्तात्रय केमकर, नगरसेविका सौ. पुष्पावती महादेव कोळेकर, नगरसेवक श्री. रघुनाथ पांडुरंग चव्हाण, स्वीकृत नगरसेवक श्री. आकाश भिमराव सावंत, श्री, गौरव नंदकुमार गांधी आदी पदाधिकारी उपस्थित होते.
पुढे बोलताना नगराध्यक्ष डॉ. आप्पासाहेब देशमुख म्हणाले कि, देशात व राज्यात भाजपच्या विचाराची सत्ता असल्याने माळशिरस नगरपंचायतीच्या तिन्ही लोकप्रतिनिधींच्या माध्यमातून भरपूर निधी आणून माळशिरस नगरपंचायतीच्या हद्दीतील सर्व समस्या सोडवून माळशिरस शहराचा चेहरामोहरा बदलून आदर्श विकासाचं मॉडेल कसे बनवता येईल, यासाठी आम्ही सर्व लोकप्रतिनिधी भविष्यामध्ये काम करणार असल्याचे सांगितले. माळशिरस नगरपंचायतला जवळजवळ सात कोटी रुपयाचा निधी मंजूर झालेला असल्याने सदरच्या विकासकामांचा शुभारंभ लवकरच करणार असल्याचे सांगून माळशिरस नगरपंचायतमध्ये कोणकोणती विकासकामे मंजूर कामे मंजूर झाली आहेत ते सांगितले.
