माळशिरस तालुक्यातील पाण्याच्या बाबतीमध्ये गावाची ओळख असणारे गाव म्हणजे मांडवे, या गावाला निरा उजवा कालव्याने वळसा घातला असतानाच मोठ्या प्रमाणात बागायती क्षेत्र आहे. परंतु, गेल्या अनेक दिवसापासून गावठाणावर पाणी संकट ओढवले आहे. त्याचबरोबर काही वाड्या वस्त्यांवर टँकरची मागणी होत आहे. गावामध्ये पाणीसाठा मुबलक असताना देखील त्याच्या वाटपाचे ढिसाळ नियोजन जाणवत आहे. त्यामुळे गावात पाणी असून देखील गावावर दुष्काळाची शोककळा निर्माण झाली आहे. याला नक्की जबाबदार कोण ? असा प्रश्न या निमित्ताने उपस्थित होतो.
याबाबत ग्रामपंचायत कार्यालयाकडे विचारणा केली असता ग्रामपंचायत लोकप्रतिनिधीमध्ये मेळ नाही ?, अशी उडवाउडवीची उत्तरे अधिकारी देत आहेत. तर वैयक्तिक तुला लाभ मिळवून देतो, या नावाखाली काही अधिकाऱ्यांच्या जोरदार वसुली सुरू आहेत. त्यांच्या या कृत्यामुळे गावात नियोजनाचा अभाव निर्माण झाला आहे. तर लोकप्रतिनिधी मात्र गावाला सुखसुविधांपासून वंचित ठेवून स्वतः मात्र पांढऱ्या कपड्यांमध्ये फिरताना दिसत आहेत. यावर लवकर उपाययोजना केली गेली नाही तर येत्या काही दिवसांमध्ये ग्रामपंचायत कार्यालय व पंचायत समिती स्तरावर महिला मोर्चा काढण्याच्या तयारीत आहेत. येत्या दोन दिवसांमध्ये मुबलक पाणी व योग्य नियोजन नाही झाले तर, ग्रामस्थ आक्रमक पवित्र्याच्या भूमिकेत आहेत.
गेल्या पंधरा दिवसापासून उन्हाच्या झळा मोठ्या प्रमाणात जाणवत आहेत गावठाणामध्ये कधी दोन मिनिट तर, कधी पाच मिनिटांपर्यंत पाणी येत आहे. एका कुटुंबाला फक्त 20 ते 30 लिटर पाणी मिळते आहे. यामध्ये सुधारणा नाही झाली तर खूप भयानक परिस्थिती निर्माण होईल, यावर ग्रामपंचायत व पंचायत समिती स्तरावर योग्य त्या उपाययोजना करण्यात याव्या.
