आमदार सचिन कल्याणशेट्टी, राजाभाऊ राऊत, माजी आमदार प्रशांत परिचारक, माजी जिल्हाध्यक्ष शहाजी पवार यांच्याही नावाची चर्चा सुरू आहे.
सांगोला तालुक्यातील जवळा येथील श्रीकांत आप्पासाहेब देशमुख यांच्याकडे सोलापूर जिल्हा अध्यक्षपदाची जबाबदारी देण्यात आलेली होती. त्यांनी सक्षमपणे जबाबदारी पार पडलेली आहे. काही महिन्यानंतर तीन वर्षाचा कार्यकाल पूर्ण होणार होता, या कालावधीत त्यांनी सोलापूर जिल्ह्यात भारतीय जनता पक्ष वाढीसाठी भरीव काम केलेले आहे. पक्षाची ताकद निश्चितपणे जिल्ह्यात वाढलेली आहे. वरिष्ठ नेते मंडळी श्रीकांतदादा देशमुख यांच्या पक्ष कार्यावर समाधानी होती. मात्र, त्यांनी अचानक राजीनामा देण्याचे कारण पत्रामध्ये देऊन राजीनामा दिलेला आहे.
प्रदेशाध्यक्ष चंद्रकांतदादा पाटील यांना दिलेल्या पत्रामध्ये एका महिलेकडून माझे आणि ट्रॅपमध्ये अडकवून चारित्र्य हनन झालेबाबत खुलासा केलेला आहे.

सदर महिलेने सूडबुद्धीने व अन्य हेतूने सोशल मीडियावर व्हिडिओ व्हायरल केलेला आहे. या प्रकरणाचा सोक्षमोक्ष लागेपर्यंत मी माझ्या भाजप पक्षाला कोणतीही बाधा येऊ नये म्हणून जिल्हाध्यक्ष या पदापासून दूर राहणे उचित समजतो. गेली दोन वर्ष पक्षासाठी रात्रीचा दिवस करून जिल्ह्यात पक्ष संघटना अनेक राजकीय आंदोलनाच्या माध्यमातून बळकट केलेली आहे.
आत्तापर्यंत 86 गुन्हे अंगावर घेतलेले आहे. या मानहानीकारक परिस्थितीतून मी लवकरच बाहेर पडून पुन्हा जोमाने पक्ष कार्य चालू ठेवीन, तोपर्यंत मी माझ्या जिल्हाध्यक्ष पदाचा राजीनामा देणे योग्य समजतो. यापुढेही आपली साथ राहावी तसेच मार्गदर्शन व सहकार्य मिळावे ही नम्र विनंती. अशा आशयाच्या पत्राची प्रत प्रदेशाध्यक्ष चंद्रकांतदादा पाटील यांना देऊन संघटन मंत्री मकरंद देशपांडे व माढा लोकसभेचे खासदार रणजीतसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांना दिलेली आहे.
