राज्य माहिती आयोग, नागपूर खंडपीठ यांना राजेश ठाकूर यांचे निवेदन

माहितीचा अधिकार अधिनियम २००५ हा कायदा देशभरात दि. १२/१०/२००५ पासून लागू करण्यात आला आहे. शासनाने वेळोवेळी जाणीवपूर्वक उचललेल्या पावलांमुळे राज्यात हा कायदा लक्षणीय स्वरूपात लोकाभिमुख झाल्याचे स्पष्ट होते.
महाराष्ट्रात माहितीचा अधिकार अधिनियम २००५ या कायद्याच्या व्यापक प्रसिद्धीकरिता व प्रभावी अंमलबजावणी करिता शासन स्तरावर सर्वतोपरी उपाययोजना करण्यात येत आहे. दि. २८ सप्टेंबर हा दिवस आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर माहिती अधिकार दिवस म्हणून साजरा करण्यात येतो. या दिवशी माहितीचा अधिकार अधिनियम या कायद्यातील तरतुदी आणि कार्यपद्धतींना विविध दृकश्राव्य माध्यमातून व्यापक प्रसिद्धी देणे आणि नागरिकांपर्यंत पोहोचवण्याचा शासनाचा मानस आहे. म्हणून राज्य पातळीवर प्रतिवर्षी २८ सप्टेंबर हा दिवस माहिती अधिकार दिवस म्हणून साजरा करण्यात यावा, असा निर्णय शासनाने घेतला आहे.
या दिवशी शालेय शिक्षण विभाग व उच्च व तंत्र शिक्षण विभागाकडून सर्व शाळा, महाविद्यालय, विद्यापीठे इतर शैक्षणिक संस्थांमध्ये माहितीचा अधिकार या विषयावर आधारित प्रश्नमंजुषा, चित्रकला, निबंध व वक्तृत्व इत्यादी सारख्या स्पर्धा तसेच व्याख्यानमाला आयोजित अशासकीय समाजसेवी संस्थांच्या मदतीने दिनांक २८ सप्टेंबर हा दिवस राज्य पातळीवर प्रतिवर्षी माहिती अधिकार दिवस म्हणून साजरा करून माहितीच्या अधिकाराबाबत समाजात व्यापक प्रमाणात जनजागृती करण्यास दि. २८ सप्टेंबर २००८ पासून सुरुवात करण्यात आली आहे. जिल्ह्यात हा उपक्रम व्यापक पातळीवर राबवण्याची जबाबदारी सर्व जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांवर सोपवण्यात आली आहे. या अंतर्गत जिल्हात राबविण्यात आलेल्या उपक्रमांचा अहवाल जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांनी शासनास दरवर्षी ऑक्टोबर अखेर सादर करण्याचे आदेश शासन निर्णयात देण्यात आले आहे.
शासन निर्णयानुसार माहितीचा अधिकार हक्क मंचाचे संस्थापक अध्यक्ष राजेश एन. ठाकूर यांच्यातर्फे राज्य माहिती आयोगाचे नागपूर खंडपीठ येथील आयुक्त श्री. राहुल पांडे यांना निवेदन देऊन माहिती अधिकार कायद्याची प्रभावी अंमलबजावणी व्हावी याकरिता संबंधित जिल्हाधिकारी, विभागीय आयुक्त आणि इतर सर्व प्रशासनाला अवगत करण्याकरिता निवेदन देण्यात आले आहे.
