पुढे बोलताना ते म्हणाले की, देशाचा कृषिमंत्री कोण..? हे आजही राज्यासह देशातील ८५ टक्के जनतेला माहित नाही. मात्र कृषिमंत्री हा शब्द उच्चारताच जनतेच्यासमोर आदराने शरद पवार यांचा चेहरा दिसतो. खा. शरद पवार यांनीच राज्यासह देशातील सर्वोच्च असलेली कर्जमाफी केली होती. यामध्ये लाखो शेतकऱ्यांना फायदा झाला होता. यावेळी ना कोणत्या अटी होत्या, ना कोणते नियम होते, न कोणता ऑनलाईनचा तगादा होता. त्याच्यानंतर कोणतीच कर्जमाफी कोणत्याच सरकारने घेतली नाही. शरद पवार आजही बांधावर उतरून शेतकऱ्यांची आपुलकीने विचारपूस करतात. त्यामुळे आपण राष्ट्रवादीसोबत जाण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे, असे सांगून आज सकाळी ११ वाजता यशवंतराव चव्हाण सभागृह येथे खा. शरद पवार यांच्याशी शेती, पाणी, पाऊस आणि सोलापूर जिल्ह्यातील राजकीय घडामोडींवर सविस्तर चर्चा झाली.
या चर्चेदरम्यान खा. सुप्रिया सुळे आल्या असता त्यांनी सायंकाळी सिल्वर ओक वर भेट देण्यास सांगितले. त्यानुसार सायंकाळी ५ वाजता खा. सुप्रिया सुळे यांच्याशी अतुल खूपसे पाटील व कार्यकर्त्यांची सविस्तर चर्चा झाली.
दरम्यान लवकरच प्रदेशाध्यक्ष जयंत पाटील व प्रचार प्रमुख खा. अमोल कोल्हे यांची भेट घेऊन पुढील रणनीती ठरवू असे आश्वासन सुळे यांनी दिले असल्याची माहिती खूपसे पाटील यांनी माध्यमांशी बोलताना दिली.
