माढा लोकसभा मतदार संघ देशाच्या राजकीय वर्तुळात चर्चेचा विषय बनलेला आहे. भाजप व महायुतीकडून माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर व पाणीदार खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांची उमेदवारी घोषित केल्यानंतर महाविकास आघाडीकडून अनेक नेत्यांच्या नावांची चर्चा सुरू असताना महाराष्ट्र राज्याचे माजी उपमुख्यमंत्री व शरदचंद्रजी पवार यांच्यावर निष्ठा असणारे विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील माढा लोकसभेसाठी महाविकास आघाडीकडून राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस शरदचंद्र पवार गटाचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष जयंतराव पाटील यांची पसंती असल्याचे खात्रीलायक वृत्त हाती आलेले आहे.

महाविकास आघाडीकडून राष्ट्रीय समाज पक्षाचे राष्ट्रीय नेते व महाराष्ट्र राज्याचे माजी दुग्धविकास व पशुसंवर्धन मंत्री महादेवराव जानकर उभा राहणार असल्याचे चित्र निर्माण झालेले होते. अशावेळी मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडणवीस, उपमुख्यमंत्री अजितदादा पवार यांनी महादेवराव जानकर यांना महायुतीतच ठेवून परभणी लोकसभा मतदार संघाची अजितदादा गटाची जागा दिलेली आहे. माढा लोकसभा मतदारसंघात अनेक नावांची चर्चा आहे. मोकळ्या चर्चा आहेत मात्र, शरदचंद्रजी पवार यांच्या सातारा दौऱ्यावरून परत जात असताना गाडीमध्ये बसून अनेक राजकीय खलबते निर्माण झालेली होती.

प्रदेशाध्यक्ष जयंतराव पाटील उद्या महाविकास आघाडीतील पाच नावांची घोषणा करणार आहेत. त्यामध्ये माढा लोकसभेसाठी महाविकास आघाडीकडून विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांच्या नावाला पसंती असल्याचे खात्रीलायक वृत्त हाती आलेले आहे. शरदचंद्र पवार व मोहिते पाटील परिवारातील सदस्यांची बैठक होणार आहे. शेवटी नाट्यमयरित्या घडामोडी घडत असतात. लोकसभेची निवडणूक आहे, ऐनवेळी काहीही होऊ शकते.
