नातेपुते येथील पत्रकार परिषदेमध्ये विरोधी गट प्रमुख नगरसेवक ॲड. श्री‌ भानुदास राऊत, नगरसेवक राजेंद्र उर्फ दादासाहेब उराडे, नगरसेवक दीपक आबा काळे, नगरसेविका सौ. माया उराडे, नगरसेविका सौ. शर्मिला चांगण, नगरसेविका सौ. सविता बरडकर, स्वीकृत नगरसेवक रावसाहेब पांढरे, भाजप तालुका उपाध्यक्ष प्रवीण काळे, भाजप नातेपुते शहराध्यक्ष देविदास उर्फ भैयासाहेब चांगण, विजयकुमार उराडे, ज्ञानेश्वर (माऊली) उराडे, शशिकांत बरडकर, अमित चांगण, सतीश बरडकर, महेश सोरटे, बिट्टू काळे आदी मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.

पत्रकार परिषदेमधील ठळक मुद्दे नगरपंचायतीची कार्यकारणी अस्तित्वात आल्यापासून सत्ताधारी गटाकडून विरोधक म्हणून आम्हाला कुठल्याही कामासंदर्भात विश्वासात घेतले जात नाही. मासिक मिटिंगमध्ये सर्व नगरसेवकांनी सुचविलेल्या कामांसाठी शासनाकडून मिळणारा निधी हा ठराविक व सत्ताधारी यांच्या प्रभागासाठीच वापरण्यात येतो, विरोधी गटाचे नगरसेवकांचे कामाकडे जाणीवपूर्वक दुर्लक्ष केले जाते. नगरपंचायतीच्या झालेल्या मिटींगची ठराव प्रत व बजेट प्रत वेळोवेळी मागणी करून देखील न देण्याचे कारण अद्याप स्पष्ट झाले नाही. जिल्हा नियोजन निधी वाटप करताना विरोधी गटाला पुसटशी कल्पना न देता सत्ताधाऱ्यांची प्रभागांमध्येच त्याचे वाटप केले जाते. विकासकामांची टेंडर प्रक्रिया राबवीत असताना शासनाने घालून दिलेल्या नियमांची पायमल्ली करून ज्या कामांची टेंडर प्रक्रिया ऑनलाईन राबविणे आवश्यक असताना ती जाणीवपूर्वक ऑफलाइन पद्धतीने कामाच्या निधीचे तुकडे करून त्यामध्ये भ्रष्टाचाराला वाव राहील, अशा पद्धतीने राबवली जात आहे. टेंडर प्रसिद्धीकरण योग्य कारणाविना ती सोयीस्कररित्या रिकॉल केली जातात व नंतर येणारे ठराविक टेंडर धारक यांना मॅनेज करून सत्ताधारी त्यांचे सोयीनुसार वाटप करताना दिसून येत आहेत.

नगरपंचायतीचा आरोग्य विभागाचा वार्षिक खर्च सुमारे अंदाजे 48 लाखांपर्यंत होतो. परंतु घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन या शीर्षकाखाली 11 महिने करिता ठेकेदारास 96 लाख एवढ्या रकमेचे ठेका दिला असून त्याचा भार जनसामान्य जनतेवर लादला जातो. तसेच आरोग्य विभाग कर्मचारी यांचा पगार ठेका सोडून नगरपंचायतीचे उत्पन्न केला जात आहे‌. ठेका व नगरपंचायत आरोग्य कर्मचारी पगार यांचा मिळून एकूण अंदाजे एक कोटी 44 लाखांपर्यंत जात आहे, त्या प्रमाणात स्वच्छता होत नसल्याचे दिसून येत आहे. सदर ठेकेची टेंडर कॉपी प्रत वेळोवेळी मागणी करून देखील दिली जात नाही. विद्युत विभागातील स्ट्रीट लाईट तारा ओढण्याचे 12 किलोमीटरचे कामाचे टेंडर ठेकेदारास दिले होते परंतु, ते काम अपूर्ण असताना त्याचे बहुतांशी पेमेंट अदा केले आहे. सदर झालेले कामाचे मोजमाप करण्यासाठी वेळोवेळी तक्रार करून देखील त्याकडे जाणीवपूर्वक दुर्लक्ष केले आहे. सदर काम हे विरोधी नगरसेवकांचे प्रभागांमध्ये होऊ दिले गेले नाही. मा. आमदार राम सातपुते साहेब यांनी नातेपुते नगरपंचायतीस सात महिन्यापूर्वी चार कोटी पन्नास लाख रुपये विविध कामांसाठी निधी दिला असताना त्याचे टेंडर अद्यापपर्यंत खोलण्यास टाळाटाळ केली जात आहे व नंतर पब्लिश केलेले टेंडर सात दिवसांमध्ये फोडून त्या कामाची सुरुवात देखील झालेली दिसून येत आहे. या संदर्भात कसलीही कल्पना विरोधी गटास दिली जात नाही. असे नऊ मुद्दे असणारी प्रेस नोट देऊन त्यावर सात नगरसेवक यांच्या स्वाक्षऱ्या केलेल्या आहेत.
