माढा लोकसभेचे कार्यतत्पर पाणीदार खासदार रणजीतसिंह हिंदुराव नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी फलटण पंढरपूर रेल्वेला राज्य शासनाबरोबरच केंद्र शासनाकडूनही बजेटची तरतूद केली आहे. याबद्दल केंद्रीय रेल्वेमंत्री आश्विनी वैष्णव यांनी कौतुक करत ही रेल्वे सुरू करण्यासाठीचे सर्व श्रेय खासदार रणजीतसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांचं आहे, असं सांगितलं.

यावेळी ते असे म्हणाले की, खासदार रणजितसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी अतिशय उत्कृष्ट प्रकारे याचा पाठपुरावा केला. ते सतत पाठपुरावा करत राहिले आणि अखेर राज्य सरकारकडून व केंद्र सरकारकडून यासाठी बजेटची तरतूदही केली.

कार्यतत्पर पाणीदार खासदार रणजीतसिंह नाईक निंबाळकर यांनी फलटण-पंढरपूर रेल्वे रेल्वे सुरू करण्यासाठीचे २९ सप्टेंबर रोजी उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी फडणवीस यांच्या समवेत बैठक घेतली. त्यानंतर ३० सप्टेंबर रोजी राज्य सरकारच्या बैठकीत बजेट मंजूर करून घेतले व १ ऑक्टोबर रोजी केंद्र सरकारकडून बजेटला मान्यता मिळाली. केंद्र व राज्य या दोन्ही सरकारकडून मान्यता मिळवून देऊन अखेर फलटण पंढरपूर रेल्वे सुरू झाली.
