पंचायत समिती माजी सदस्य व माजी सरपंच यांच्या मातोश्री लक्ष्मीबाई यांचे मुरघास तयार करण्यामध्ये मोलाचे सहकार्य.

मांडवे (बारामती झटका)

शेतीला पूरक व्यवसाय म्हणून दुग्ध व्यवसायाकडे ग्रामीण भागातील शेतकऱ्यांची ओढ असते. दुग्ध व्यवसायातून अनेक लोकांनी आपले संसार व प्रपंच उभे केलेले आहेत. दिवसेंदिवस ओला चारा याची कमतरता पडू नये, पावसाळ्यात व उन्हाळ्यात जनावरांना चारा पौष्टिक व उपयुक्त मिळावा, यासाठी मुरघास करण्याची पद्धत सुरू झालेली आहे. दिवसेंदिवस शेतकऱ्यांचा मुरघास करण्याकडे वाढता कल आहे. घरातील पुरुष मंडळी काही कामानिमित्त बाहेरगावी व इतर कामामुळे घरी नसतील तर महिला भगिनी जनावरांची देखभाल करीत असतात. माळशिरस पंचायत समिती माजी सदस्य व मांडवे गावचे माजी सरपंच तानाजीराव पालवे यांच्या मातोश्री लक्ष्मीबाई पालवे यांचे मुरघास तयार करण्यामध्ये घरातील व नातेवाईक मंडळी, कामगार यांच्या समवेत मोलाचे सहकार्य करीत असतात.

बऱ्यापैकी महिला यशस्वी दुग्ध व्यवसाय करीत असतात. जनावरांना वेळच्या वेळेला पाणी, वैरण व मुरघास टाकत असतात. शेणघाण व धारा काढण्यापर्यंत महिलांचे मोलाचे योगदान असते. काही ठिकाणी तर पुरुष मंडळी धुतलेली स्वच्छ इस्त्रीची कपडे घालून, अंगावर दुधाचा शेणाचा कशाचाही डाग न पडता फक्त दूध डेअरीला घालण्याचे काम करीत असतात.

लक्ष्मीबाई पालवे यांनी प्रतिकूल परिस्थितीत संसार करीत असताना दुग्ध व्यवसायाला महत्त्व दिलेले आहे. मुरघास तयार करीत असताना स्वतः मुरघास करण्यामध्ये सहभागी झालेल्या होत्या. वयाचा विचार न करता मुरघास भरण्याचे काम जोरात सुरू होते.
