भारतीय जनता पक्षाने आगामी लोकसभा व विधानसभेच्या निवडणुकीच्या अनुषंगाने महाराष्ट्र राज्याचे माजी मुख्यमंत्री यांचे तत्कालीन विशेष कार्यकारी अधिकारी असणारे विधान परिषदेचे आमदार श्रीकांतजी भारतीय यांची नाशिक येथे झालेल्या पक्षाच्या महत्त्वपूर्ण बैठकीमध्ये प्रदेश संयोजन पदी निवड केल्यानंतर प्रथमच श्री पांडुरंग रुक्मिणी मंदिरामध्ये महासंकल्पाचा शुभारंभ करण्यासाठी माळशिरस तालुक्यातून गेलेले होते. त्यावेळेस अकलूजवरून येऊनसुद्धा मोहिते पाटील आणि मोहिते पाटील समर्थक यांनी त्यांना साधा हार व पुष्पगुच्छ सुद्धा दिलेला नाही. पक्ष नेतृत्वाकडे डोळे झाक करणारे रण-धैर्य माढा लोकसभेचे खासदार होण्याचे स्वप्न पहात आहेत. त्यामुळे माढा लोकसभेचे उमेदवार नव्हे तर उमेदवाराचे प्रतिनिधी तरी बनतील का ? असा राजकीय विश्लेषकांमध्ये चर्चेचा विषय बनलेला आहे.
